- 08.12.10 - Finished runner-up to Keith Switzer in the MKPC "Final Table"... called off my last few chips with 23 on a board of K5436... Keith held 67.
- 08.06.10 - Started hot at Kevin's tourney (flopped a set of sevens... then kings). Later with AA, I got into a pre-flop raising war with Leigh... 9TJ flop... she had pocket jacks... out well short of the final table.
- 07.16.10 - Out shortly before the final table in the MKPC tourney... with the blinds getting high, my AQ ran into Mike A's pocket aces... July has been brutal.
- 07.09.10 - Out in 8th place in the MKPC tourney... 44 < 99 < A2.
- 06.25.10 - Out just shy of the dinner break in Event 45 ($1500 NLHE) at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas... AJ < AK. Read more about my first WSOP experience in my blog.
- 06.21.10 - Final tune-up before Event 45 in Vegas... out in the 3rd hour again of the Oaks Card Club NLHE tourney... shoved from the button w/ K8... called by 77 after a fairly long tank... board: JJ274.
- 06.19.10 - Out in the 3rd hour of the Oaks Card Club's Saturday NLHE tourney... was an 82% favorite to chip up to about an average stack on my elimination hand... nice little warm up before next week's WSOP tourney (Event # 45) in Vegas... baby.
- 06.11.10 - Out early in the MKPC tourney... card dead all night... my stack got low, then KJ < 33.
- 06.04.10 - Out very early in Kevin's tourney... shoved all-in for about 10 big blinds (blind) in the big blind after 4 limpers... early limper called with AK... I had 73o... blank board for me.
- 05.13.10 - Out just short of the money bubble (7th out of 30) in Atlantic City Showboat's $65, late night tourney... 33 < KQ... 3 1/2 hours for naught.
- 04.23.10 - Out early in the MKPC tourney. Squeeze play w/ AJo backfired... got called by JJ and the 3 remaining aces were dead!... but still at the top of the leaderboard with 4 weeks to go.
- 04.17.10 - Took down my second MKPC tourney. Sucked out on the river early on w/ Q8s to stay alive... then the turning point at the final table is when I tripled up w/ A8o against TT and 33.
- 04.09.10 - Out early in Kevin's tourney. Teresa had my number... she took a large pot from me w/ AJ (flopped a straight) against my pocket aces... then knocked me out w/ AK against my pocket queens.
- 04.02.10 - Out early at the final table in MKPC's tourney. I sucked out a few times to even get that far... finally got knocked out when I shoved AT after two limpers and ran into Ruy's pocket aces.
- 03.26.10 - Out shortly before the final table in MKPC's tourney. Hand of the night: I made a very poor laydown after I turned the broadway straight w/ KJ on a 3-spade board.
- 03.05.10 - Finished 3rd (ITM) in MKPC's tourney. Big hand of the night was beating AK with my lowly T9 offsuit (all-in pre-flop) shortly before the final table.
- 02.26.10 - Out in 7th place in MKPC's tourney. I tried stealing the blinds with 62 (sooted in hearts)... Jim Baker suspected a thief and called with A2.
- 02.05.10 - Rivered quad kings in a limped pot from the BB with K6 to win high hand of the night in Kevin's tourney.
- 01.29.10 - Getting low on chips in MKPC's tourney, I shoved with Q5 from the button. Scott Logan called from the BB with K9... game over for moi.
- 01.15.10 - Took down my first MK Poker Club tourney... flopping three sets didn't hurt my cause.
- 12.04.09 - Finished 2nd (out of 20) in Kevin's tourney. Yvonne beat me heads-up. We faced off for all the marbles last December... I won in 2008, she got revenge this time around.
